Speculation Surrounds Matthew Perry’s Death: Did He Relapse?

The sudden passing of acclaimed actor Matthew Perry has raised numerous questions regarding the unfortunate event. His drowning in a hot tub has sparked speculation about his health and possible drug use. More evidence emerge as Perry’s ex-girlfriend and former assistant, Kayti Edwards, weighs in on the situation.

Edwards, who dated Perry in 2006 and later worked closely with him, says there are some things that don’t line up. She expressed her skepticism about the official explanation in an interview with The Sun.

“I don’t believe he just drowned in his Jacuzzi, that doesn’t sound right,” Edwards remarked forcefully. I know Matthew, and he would not have drowned.”

What, according to Edwards, is the missing component of the puzzle? She brings up the potential of relapse. According to Edwards, Perry’s latest social media post alludes at his possible substance use leading up to his death. She brings notice to Perry’s unusual conduct, writing more frequently than normal, as someone who knew him well.

He also referred to himself as “Mattman” in his most recent post, a moniker he invented because of his love for Batman. According to Edwards, Perry only accepted this alter ego when he was not sober. She goes on to say, “Mattman would come out when he was not sober and he felt kind of invincible.”

Perry’s interaction with water and drugs is also discussed by Edwards. She describes an occasion in which she was forced to interfere when he was discovered naked and high in a neighbor’s swimming pool. Perry, according to Edwards, had a fondness for being in water while intoxicated. She recalls, “He always wanted to be in the pool or the Jacuzzi.”

The inability to say goodbye is the most difficult thing for Edwards. She laments her friend’s death, regretting that she was unable to wish him farewell. Perry’s sudden passing has left a hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.

Please watch the video below to learn more about Edwards’ point of view and her reasoning for believing in Perry’s potential relapse.
